The History
Castello di Coiano – today specialized in the production of Tuscan wine and olive oil – stands along the route of the Via Francigena, on the stretch from San Miniato to San Gimignano.
During the Middle Ages, it became an important stop for pilgrims who found rest in the peace and beauty of these lands.
